Drumsets
Acoustic drumset
I am currently playing on two different drums. I play on a transparent red Mapex Orion. This serie is very impressive. The drums have such a presence and a warmth sound that is totally unique to them. Deep, round and powerful is what describe the Mapex Orion serie. It is made of 7 maple plies (6 maple interior and 1 burl maple exterior) with eight coat, hand applied deep gloss lacquer finish. The tom-toms and the snare drum have a 6,1mm shell thickness while the bass drum has a 7,5mm one. Here's is my personal set-up :

The second drumset I play with is a Blue Galaxy Sparkle Burst Mapex Saturne. The configuration is similar to the Orion.
Drums :
B - 14 X 5.5'' Maple Snare
C - 8 X 8'' Tom Tom
D - 10 X 8'' Tom Tom
E - 12 X 9'' Tom Tom
F - 14 X 12'' Suspended Floor Tom
G - 16 X 14'' Suspended Floor Tom
H - 22 X 18'' Bass Drum

Cymbals :
A - Sabian AAX Stage Hats 13''
B - Zildjian K Custom Dark Crash 18''
C - Zildjian A Custom 8''
D - Zildjian A Custom 14''
E - Sabian Prototype 20''
F - Zildjian K Hats 15''
G - Sabian AAX Chinese 16''
H - Sabian HHX Chinese 20''

Electronic drumset
With regard to the electronic drum, I play on a Roland V-Drum TD-12BK. The possibilities offered by the Roland V-Drums simply exceed anyone's expectations. Juxtaposing the nuances' expressivity of an acoustic drum with the infinite electronic possibilities of modern technology, the Roland V-Drums allow any beater to express its inspiration and its creativity in a natural and unbounded way. The technology of the "MESH" head indisputably reproduces the sound range of possibility (rim, rimshot, press roll, etc.) in addition to the feel of a real head. Concerning the cymbals, the whole is there too: a complete range of nuances with the possibility to choke the sound. Altogether made, in addition to being quiet, the Roland V-Drums don't have anything to envy the acoustic drums.

Cymbals
I use to play on a various set of cymbals. I play on Sabian AAX, HH, HHX and on a marvelous Sabian Prototype Ride as well as on Zildjian A Custom and K Custom series. No need to say that the fickleness of these cymbals makes it possible to play in all styles of music.

Heads
Evans company retains my attention with details and infinite possibilities. I use G plus (1 ply of 12 mm) on my tom-toms' batter heads and a Genera G1 Clear (10mm) on the resonant side. The sound result is expressive and singing tom-toms and roaring floor toms.
For the snare drum, I use a Genera G2 Coated (2 plies of 7mm each) on the batter side and a Snare Side 300 Hazy on the resonant side. This way, I get a cut out sound with very clear sensitivity.
My bass drum is provided with an EMAD2 Clear (Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping) (1 X 7mm outer pli + 1 X 10mm inner pli) on the batter side and a White Emad Resonant head (7mm) with the Control Ring on the resonant side. The combination of these heads gives an incredible attack and, indisputably, a raising of the low frequencies.
Evans Company definitely fulfills my needs. To all dummers who seek quality and durability, I recommend Evans drumheads.

Sticks
I play Vic Firth sticks. I have a preference for sticks size 7A. Whether it is American Classic, American Sound, American Heritage or the Joe Porcaro Signature Series (JPH7A), Vic Firth Company offers me unequalled quality and durability sticks. Although my choice stops on size 7A, Vic Firth Company offers a wide range of sticks that will fulfill the needs of drummers as well as percussionists.http://www.mapexdrums.com/http://www.mapexcanada.com/drums/orion/index.htmlhttp://www.mapexdrums.com/http://www.mapexcanada.com/drums/orion/index.htmlhttp://www.mapexdrums.com/http://www.mapexcanada.com/drums/saturn/index.htmlhttp://www.mapexcanada.com/drums/orion/index.htmlhttp://www.roland.com/V-Drums/http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.aspx?ObjectId=971&ParentId=60http://www.roland.com/V-Drums/http://www.roland.com/V-Drums/http://www.roland.com/V-Drums/http://www.sabian.com/en/http://www.sabian.com/EN/products/aax.cfmhttp://www.sabian.com/EN/products/hh.cfmhttp://www.sabian.com/EN/products/hhx.cfmhttp://www.zildjian.com/EN-US/home.ad2http://www.zildjian.com/en-US/products/default.ad2?catalogID=1010http://www.zildjian.com/en-US/products/default.ad2?catalogID=1008&useID=0&itemsPerPage=9999&typeID=0http://store.daddario.com/category/148274/G_Plus_Clear_%26amp%3B_Coatedhttp://store.daddario.com/category/148287/G1_Clear_%26amp%3B_Coatedhttp://store.daddario.com/category/148298/G2_Coatedhttp://store.daddario.com/category/148347/Hazy_300http://store.daddario.com/category/148176/EMAD2_Clearhttp://store.daddario.com/category/148222/EMAD_Resonanthttp://www.vicfirth.com/http://www.vicfirth.com/products/americanclassic.htmlhttp://www.vicfirth.com/products/americansound.htmlhttp://www.vicfirth.com/products/americanheritage.htmlhttp://www.vicfirth.com/products/porcaro.htmlhttp://www.vicfirth.com/http://www.vicfirth.com/shapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2shapeimage_3_link_3shapeimage_3_link_4shapeimage_3_link_5shapeimage_3_link_6shapeimage_3_link_7shapeimage_3_link_8shapeimage_3_link_9shapeimage_3_link_10shapeimage_3_link_11shapeimage_3_link_12shapeimage_3_link_13shapeimage_3_link_14shapeimage_3_link_15shapeimage_3_link_16shapeimage_3_link_17shapeimage_3_link_18shapeimage_3_link_19shapeimage_3_link_20shapeimage_3_link_21shapeimage_3_link_22shapeimage_3_link_23shapeimage_3_link_24shapeimage_3_link_25shapeimage_3_link_26shapeimage_3_link_27shapeimage_3_link_28shapeimage_3_link_29shapeimage_3_link_30shapeimage_3_link_31
